How To: Tip your hair

What you'll need:
1. Hairdye- (Whatever colors you desire) I picked teal and purple (they were out of pink)
3. Hair Clips- To help clip layers of your hair up
4. Tin Folil-Cut into large squares
5. Hair Dye Brush-This is what you will apply the color with
6. Containers-This will hold the color
7. Gloves-Don't forget these! The first time we forgot them..it was a mess
7. Bleach- Only if you have darker hair. You will need to bleach the tips of your hair. Since mine is so light I didn't need to.

Have your supplies??? Awesome..let's get started!!!

Step 1: Get your supplies ready. Dye in containers, gloves on, hair brushed.
Step 2: Piece hair into layers. This is wear your clips will come in handy.
Step 3: Set the tin foil under where you want to apply color and then apply color. Don't be shy lather it on there (Make sure you get the front and back side of that strand)
Step 4: Enclose that hair. Basically just fold the hair inside the tin foil.
Step 5: Repeat steps 2 and 3 until you have as much done as you want.
Step 6: Let sit for 10-20 min depending on how vibrant you want it.
Step 7: Apply heat. After you've had it on there for the 10-20 minutes simply use a hair straightner and apply heat. You may hear a sizzle. Don't freak! It's okay! This helps the color stay on longer...fading is the worst.
Step 8: Wash out the color. Be sure to get it all out. And then hair dry and style as usual.
Step 9: Enjoy your rockin new look!!!!

Good Luck!!!

I have faith in you! It is easier if you have someone helping you do this. I've tried it both ways. Both work fine. But it's always good to have another opinion and someone to help you with the back of your hair.

Carpe Diem!
